Lisa joined the Ministry of Justice to lead on culture change when it comes to being a truly data- and evidence- driven department. The revolutionary aspect of Lisa’s work is that it fundamentally changes the way that people approach their work and the information and ways of thinking available to them. This is due to a world-class background in transforming organisations and mindset in both the public and private sector. Most recently, Lisa was the Managing Director of AVADO Digital, working with global leaders and companies to transform digital mindset and change the ways organisations operate from the inside out. Her teams built technology, delivered management training, and trained C-level and board leaders at the world’s top companies, on nearly every continent. Before her career in the private sector, Lisa worked for more than a decade in the public sector in the US, overseeing teams embedded in large organisations that drove initiatives that fundamentally changed outcomes. This work directly informed President Obama’s education policy and led to a fundamental restructuring of the way that the federal government, states, and local authorities approached performance challenges and measured outcomes in public schools. Lisa was formerly a director at Coursera Inc., in Silicon Valley, and holds an MBA from INSEAD. She brings knowledge of behavioural economics and neuroscience to her work on culture change. She is passionate about people and systems achieving their full potential.
